Vermund recieves the 2014 Allan Rosenfield Alumni Award from Columbia University

Sten Vermund, M.D. Ph.D., Amos Christie Professor of Global Health and professor of Pediatrics, Health Policy, Medicine and Obstetrics and Gynecology at Vanderbilt and Linda P. Fried, M.D., M.P.H., Dean and DeLamar Professor of Public Health at Columbia

Sten Vermund, M.D., Ph.D., director of VIGH, received the 2014 Allan Rosenfield Alumni Award for Excellence from the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City at the Alumni Summit in June. Linda P. Fried, M.D., M.P.H., Dean and DeLamar Professor of Public Health presented the award.

Established in 2009 to honor the late Allan Rosenfield, M.D., who served as dean of the Mailman School from 1986 to 2008, the award recognizes the achievements of the school’s outstanding alumni and their leadership in the field of public health.
